Matan Radin is an award-winning cinematographer based in Berlin since 2009. He studied cinematography at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB), as well as photography at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York and film at CalArts in Los Angeles.
Radin’s work has premiered at major international festivals including Cannes, TIFF, Sundance, and San Sebastián, earning critical acclaim for its emotional depth and singular visual authorship. Radin received the 2021 Israeli Academy Award for Best Cinematography for DISMISSED, directed by Atara Frish, on which he served as cinematographer for all three seasons. His recent collaboration with director Or Sinai, MAMA, premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
